Good morning, Auburn.

An Auburn man, Keeden Renion, pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and assault after he crashed his Tesla into another car in Kent on May 29th after drinking at a Mariners game—he was sentenced to 40 months in prison with 20 months for vehicular assault running concurrently and 364 days of electronic home detention for reckless driving.

Auburn has named Julie Krueger as the new director of Parks, Arts and Recreation to replace Daryl Faber after his 21 years in the role.

Krueger, who has worked in Auburn since 2006 and helped plan events like Petpalooza, the Veterans Parade and the 4th of July Festival, said she is excited to serve the community.
