- ➤ Auburn leaders are weighing whether to renew their contract with King County District Court for court services or form an independent municipal court, with a decision due by May 12 (the presiding judge extended the original deadline). City officials said the change may lead to the city paying full cost for probation services that could add more than $500,000 in charges. Auburn Reporter
