- ➤ On Monday morning, hazmat crews closed all lanes of southbound SR 167 after a truck carrying barrels of resin leaked near SR 18 and West Main Street, causing a five-mile backup at 12:45 p.m.—cleanup work continued after 2 p.m. as workers removed 42 drums. KOMO News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Auburn Emergency Management has opened registration for free CERT training that teaches residents how to help during disasters. The course runs Tuesday evenings from May 13 to June 28 at 1 East Main Street — with Saturday drills on June 7 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and June 28 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Auburn Examiner
