- ➤ Kent Police said Avon Cobb—a 51-year-old man wanted for a domestic violence assault with a firearm—fled after a flashbang may have caused a fire at an Auburn business on April 8 and reportedly left the area as investigators continue searching for him. Auburn Reporter
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Auburn is now taking sign-ups for a free CERT disaster preparedness course that will begin on May 13 with Tuesday evening classes from 6 to 9 p.m. and extra Saturday morning drills — the 24-hour program covers fire safety, light search and rescue, disaster medical operations, and utility control to help residents respond during emergencies.
