➤ On Saturday, May 17, the City of Auburn will host Petpalooza at Game Farm Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free event welcomes leashed dogs and will feature a Dog Trot 3K/5K fun run at 9:30 a.m., live music, a no-barrier petting zoo (with goats, rabbits and wallabies) and a canine stunt dog show scheduled throughout the day. SPORTS NEWS

➤ On May 13, Auburn Mountainview defeated Decatur 5-1 with strong team play—key goals by Singh, Mercado, and Montiel helped the Lions secure a place in the state tournament. The team will face Kent-Meridian today as they look to continue their postseason run. Auburn Reporter
