- ➤ Former Chinook Elementary librarian Shayla Schwoch was placed on leave by the school district on June 6 after she told police about an incident involving a 13-year-old boy who is not a student and was charged on June 10 with second-degree rape of a child—she was booked into county jail with bail set at $100,000 as the case is being investigated.
