- ➤ Auburn Police arrested a man on felony charges on July 7 after a standoff outside a boarded-up home in the 300 block of A Street SE—he was accused of slashing the tires of a vehicle outside Harbor Freight on July 6 and was later found to have a no-contact violation and active domestic violence warrants. - ➤ The White River Buddhist Temple will host its annual Bon Odori Festival on July 26 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the temple grounds on Auburn Way North — over 1,000 visitors will enjoy a family-friendly celebration with a Buddhist service, traditional dance, live performances and Japanese food.
