➤ Fire crews from Valley Regional Fire Authority, South King Fire and Rescue, and Puget Sound Fire rescued a child stranded on a cliffside above Game Farm Park on July 14 using a technical rope system— the child suffered minor injuries and was taken to Multicare Hospital for evaluation. CRIME NEWS

➤ A 22-year-old Auburn man lost control on SR 18 on July 15 at about 10:50 p.m., crashing and injuring himself and his passenger before being booked for vehicular assault on suspected impairment at 3:48 a.m. on July 16 — state patrol said drugs or alcohol played a role. Auburn Reporter
