ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Between August 4th and August 10th, Auburn’s Valley Regional Fire Authority answered many emergency calls — a brush fire on Highway 18 at C St. SW, aid calls for adults with cardiac events, a two-vehicle collision, a child with a leg stuck in playground equipment, and a vehicle fire after a collision with a utility pole. Firefighters and paramedics treated patients and transported those in need to hospitals. Auburn Examiner
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Savannah Hopper, a 38-year-old Auburn woman, was sentenced on Aug. 8 to 11 years in prison for vehicular homicide after driving at 118 mph and crashing her car over 700 feet near Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park—where her 12-year-old child died. Auburn Reporter
