A fatal crash occurred on SR 18 near the Green River Bridge at 8:12 p.m. Sept.

3 when one vehicle lost control and spun into the path of another—resulting in one man dying and two people being injured.

King County has agreed to pay $21.5 million to settle a lawsuit after a woman was attacked by two dogs while jogging in Auburn in February 2022 — the dogs came from a home with squatters and repeated neighbor complaints before officers shot one at the scene.

Deputies responded to a call on Sept.

2 just after 7 a.m. in Auburn when a person who allegedly broke into a home was shot and killed by a resident — no arrests have been made and no ongoing danger is reported.
