- ➤ Mayor Nancy Backus and city leadership will hold a series of townhall meetings this fall to invite Auburn residents to share ideas and questions about the city's future. The meetings will be on Sept. 30 at City Hall, Oct. 1 at the Community and Event Center, Oct. 8 at West Auburn High School, Oct. 22 at Green River College, and Oct. 29 at Auburn Riverside High School — light refreshments will be served.
