Medicare open enrollment runs from Oct.
15 to Dec. 7 in King County, where fewer Medicare Advantage and Part D plans with rising premiums may limit choices. More than 20 million local Medicare Part B recipients have already received a one-time $90 payment via direct deposit or check.

On Friday night at Renton Memorial Stadium, the Todd Beamer Titans beat the Hazen Highlanders 18-13 in a game that served as Hazen’s final match and senior night celebration.
Todd Beamer canceled the remainder of their season and will play their final game on Oct. 26 due to safety concerns.
