➤ Auburn residents are facing heavy flooding as relentless storms brought rain on Monday that forced nearly 1,000 people to evacuate west of the Green River and caused SR 167 to shut down—officials warn more torrential rains will soon raise water levels. KOMO News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ Both directions of SR 167 between South 212th Street in Kent and 15th Street NW in Auburn remain closed due to rising floodwater from the Green River after a brief reopening on Monday, Dec. 15, authorities said – WSDOT crews are monitoring conditions and advise drivers to use alternate routes.
